The new Honda CRF 450Rally RX is born, thanks to the experience gained by the RS Moto Team in the African Rally which derives directly from the CRF 450RX Enduro by RedMoto.
The accurate study of the details, the choice of the materials and the streamlined and aggressive design, make the CRF 450Rally RS the most powerful weapon to stand out in long and demanding rally tests. The 3 fuel tanks, of which the rear one has a structural function, bring the total capacity to 29 liters. To adapt to the new configuration, the suspensions have also been completely re-calibrated and equipped with harder springs with totally revised hydraulics to improve response to the very high speeds of African rallies. To minimize torsion, the triple clamps are machined from solid with the addition of an adjustable steering damper.
To adapt the engine to long distances, the oil capacity has been increased by 300cc on the CRF 450Rally RX, thanks to the mounting of a new tank and a radiator placed on the tower, which dissipates the heat more easily, improving the life of the most stressed engine components.
A carbon fiber engine guard protects the lower area of the chassis, the engine and the “rally-specific” exhaust system.
The CRF 450Rally, with perfectly designed controls and oversized foot pegs to facilitate the rider’s movements, is an easy motorbike suitable for all types of riding, equipped with all the navigation instruments necessary to tackle open field competitions.
The high-quality wheels, the rear with flexible couplings, with cnc machined hubs anodized in red and Excel rims, together with the larger 300mm diameter front brake disc with 2-piston Nissin caliper, complete the already highest quality standard equipment which attends the riders to victory, stage by stage.
